River (2002): Cast

Set at the close of the 19th century, the film follows a secluded leper colony deep in the Yakut taiga. A healthy young woman, arriving by chance, falls in love with a young male leper and becomes pregnant. When his wife unexpectedly returns from the outside world, their uneasy triangle erupts into tragedy.
