The premise of Riot Not Diet without spoilers.
This film presents a queer feminist utopia that challenges conventional beauty standards and embraces body positivity. It depicts a community of fat women and queer individuals who confidently reclaim space and reject shame surrounding their bodies. They actively confront and dismantle patriarchal structures while celebrating their physicality and defying the pressures of self-optimization and exploitation. A striking visual of a golden summer dress and melting ice-lolly sets the scene for this bold and empowering exploration of identity and liberation.
