Arjun [Nithiin] is a young man who enjoys the attention from his parents and everyone in the neighbourhood. With the colony lacking kids his age, he yearns for a girlfriend. When Anupama’s family moves in, Anu [Keerthy Suresh], a bright student, quickly becomes the focal point of the new dynamics, and Arjun’s jealousy begins to simmer into something darker. His family grows fond of Anu, which only deepens the rift between him and those around him. The pressure from comparisons—Arjun lagging behind academically while Anu shines—feeds his insecurity and resentment.

To escape the constant tension, Arjun plans to relocate to Dubai to pursue an MBA. With help from a friend who runs a consultancy, he secures an impressive GMAT score through cheating. A party thrown by his father marks his relief at the impending move, as if distance could erase the pain of his relation with Anu. Yet, just before he finalizes his change in plans, he learns that one of the two higher-scoring applicants is Anu, which pushes him toward a new, desperate course of action.

In a moment of reckless spite, he leaks Anu’s abroad study plans to her mother, who does not want her daughter to study further and instead pressures Anu toward marriage. Anu’s reaction is as strong as it is heartbreaking, and she agrees to marry Arjun only with a broken heart. On the day of Anu’s marriage, she publicly kisses Arjun, a gesture that leaves him torn and helpless. Under family pressure, Arjun goes ahead with the marriage, even though his own motivation remains murky.

Their first night together peels back more layers: Anu reveals that she overheard a discussion about Arjun’s earlier schemes and realizes the marriage was part of a larger plan to secure her future abroad. She confesses that the union was a calculated move, and that Arjun’s only option now is to go with her. Determined to salvage something from the mess, he convinces the other applicant to withdraw from the top university, and the couple moves to Dubai.

In Dubai, their relationship becomes a tense mix of love and hostility. A night out ends with a mild confrontation that unexpectedly leads to a passionate moment between them. The revelation of Anu’s pregnancy follows, and Arjun finds himself unprepared and increasingly resentful, accusing Anu of trapping him into marriage and parenthood. Anu responds that she intends to divorce after completing her studies and that she does not expect his involvement in the pregnancy.

Their parents step in, trying to coax the couple to work through their differences. The two of them decide to keep peace for the time being while their parents stay, but underneath the surface, the strain remains. A turning point comes when Arjun experiences the baby’s kicks and begins to feel the depth of Anu’s love, rekindling his own feelings for her and the memories of happier times they shared. He goes to tell her how he feels, only to discover that Anu has already signed the divorce papers and has been waiting for this moment.

Realizing the extent of his past mistakes and the genuine bond they share, Arjun apologizes and opens his heart, admitting how much he loves her. The couple reunites, and they move forward together, embracing life with their newborn daughter and a renewed commitment to one another, finding happiness after all the trials they endured.
