Michael [Tris Coffin] and his right-hand man Mickey Moran [Tom Neal] loom large in the post-World War II underworld, plotting to steal a shipment of Uranium-238. The heist is technically successful, but one of their henchmen, Blackie [Riley Hill], is captured, throwing a wrench into the operation and raising the stakes for everyone involved.

Radar Patrol, led by Bill Travis [John Howard], dives into the case with relentless energy. They pull a crucial clue from Blackie’s belongings: the photo of a waitress who must be Blackie’s girlfriend. In a tense manhunt through town’s restaurants, they finally corner her and recruit her as an informant, hoping to get inside information about the gang’s next move. The stakes feel higher as the clock ticks and the threat of exposure grows.

Back at Radar Patrol Headquarters, OX-Q unleashes new radar technology to track a car carrying the radioactive material. The pursuit reveals a twist: the car doesn’t hold all of the material, and Mickey Moran manages to slip away again. The squad refuses to quit, turning to aerial reconnaissance with a helicopter to pin down the rest of the stash. In parallel, Michael, Mickey, and a woman who passes as a girlfriend to both, Adele Jergens in the role of Lila, hatch another plan that hinges on a decoy car while Mickey delivers the bulk to a river under Michael’s direction.

Tensions erupt when Mickey learns he has been double-crossed by Michael. What follows is a brutal three-way clash among Michael’s men, Mickey’s faction, and Radar Patrol. The firefight leaves Mickey wounded, but he fights on and drives to Michael’s apartment, where Michael shoots him a second time, killing him. The pursuit tightens as Michael and the woman attempt a final escape, only to be confronted by Blackie’s girlfriend, who arrives furious that Blackie hasn’t been freed. She lashes out and tries to call the police, but Michael ends her threat with a quick shot. Radar Patrol closes in just as the dust settles, capturing the masterminds. In the aftermath, the agency stands to gain new equipment and capabilities as their budget receives a boost, signaling a small victory for law and order in a world still wary of postwar crime.
