Saburo, an athletically gifted but academically struggling high‑schooler, is thrust into the Sengoku era of 1549 after a time‑travel mishap. There he meets Nobunaga Oda, his spitting‑image but frail and unable to lead his clan. Nobunaga begs Saburo to assume his identity, and Saburo must guide the Oda forces and pursue the dream of unifying Japan, relying on his modern instincts while confronting the brutal realities of feudal warfare.
