Devdhar is a poor orphan whose childhood is inseparably linked to a magnetic friendship with Manorama, the only niece of the wealthy and powerful Bade Thakur and daughter of Virender Singh, known in the village as Chhote Thakur, who shares a secret affair with Chamiya.
