Pororo: The Racing Adventure 2013

Pororo and his friends, including Loopy, dream of becoming champions after watching the white tigers win the previous year’s Super Sleigh Championship on TV. Their friend, Eddy, has built a sleigh for Pororo to drive, complete with a bright lollipop that’s supposed to push the sleigh to super speed. In a playful race with their handmade sleighs, Pororo places the lollipop into the sled, sending it high into the sky where it crashes into a plane piloted by Toto and Mango, who are delivering the prize for the race. Toto is forced to land the plane in an emergency, and Eddy quickly offers to fix it so Toto and Mango can reach Northpia, the race’s destination.

Pororo notices Toto’s medal and mistakenly believes Toto is a true champion. Toto, wanting to avoid exposing the lie, hides the truth, while Mango grows unhappy with the deception. While Eddy works on the repairs, Toto begins teaching Pororo and his friends how to act like champions, running up hills and sliding down slopes in buckets to practice. During one training session, Pororo and Crong pull off a remarkable flip that leaves Toto impressed.

With the plane repaired, Toto and Mango head for Northpia, and the group rides along with them. When they arrive, Toto and Mango join a racer’s party, while Pororo and friends mingle with the crowd. At the party, Fufu, a brown bear who was expelled from the race two years earlier for cheating, crashes the scene and declares he will win, arguing that the future of the race belongs to bears like him. Pororo defends Toto by stating that he is a champion, but Fufu snatches the medal, revealing that Toto is actually a delivery champion, not a racer. The revelation leaves Pororo and his friends upset, and Mango confronts Toto about the lie, though Toto denies it and tries to assume Pororo will forget.

The next day, the race finally begins, with Toto and Mango in attendance to watch. Pororo struggles to start, but a boost from his navigator, Petty, helps him take off—though she is left behind early on as Crong steps in to become Pororo’s new navigator. As the race unfolds, Fufu’s goons attempt to sabotage other racers, but their schemes fail. The White Tiger racers explain that they must beat Fufu to win, and the competition intensifies. Late in the course, the track caves in and Pororo and Crong are stranded on a ledge while Fufu pushes Pororo’s sleigh away, seemingly leaving them behind. Toto then arrives with the magical lollipop to speed up the sleigh, and the trio manage to catch up. In a thrilling finish, Pororo and Crong replicate their training flip and cross the finish line in a photo finish. Later that night, at the awards ceremony, Pororo, his friends, Mango, and Toto celebrate the hard-earned victory.
