What Is Pool About?
The premise of Pool without spoilers.
Over six days, five strangers gather around a sparkling pool in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Four years earlier, Kyoko moved there to work at a guest house, leaving her mother and daughter Sayo in Japan. As Sayo, about to graduate university, arrives to visit her mother, she feels conflicted. Interactions with locals gradually reshape her feelings and draw her nearer to her mother.
