Lee Marvin stars as Walker, a man who finds himself betrayed, losing a significant share of $93,000 during a heist gone wrong. His former associate, Mal Reese, leaves him gravely injured, assuming he would not survive. Reese, motivated by his gambling debts to the Organization, required all the cash for himself. Walker’s wife unknowingly becomes entangled in this dangerous game, as the ill-fated job unfolds in the ominous environment of Alcatraz, notorious for being a hotbed for illicit money exchanges.
