
On the night he receives a medal for apprehending a killer, Washington, D.C. police captain Frank Matthews discovers his wife and her lover murdered in their bed. Wrongly blamed and with the original murderer freed on a technicality, Matthews breaks out of jail and hunts the true perpetrator.
