Kavin Nishesh and Naina Vaishnavi are two energetic children whose boundless energy often lands them in trouble at school. Their relentless antics push them out of one classroom after another, as their parents struggle to keep up with their mood, curiosity, and mischief. The cycle of transfers continues until a more unconventional arrangement comes into view.
They eventually end up in the care of a child psychiatrist, Dr. Tamizh Naadan Suriya, and his wife Venba Amala Paul. In a hostel setting where the kids crave affection and stability, Kavin and Naina feel the ache of being separated from their parents. The urge to reconnect with that family bond drives them to slip away from the hostel, and they end up following Tamizh and Venba’s own children to their home. This sudden reunion stirs a new conversation about what the children truly need.
Tamizh proposes a hopeful path: a school where Venba teaches, a place that encourages kids to be themselves rather than conform to rigid rules. The parents, though hesitant, weigh the idea and eventually decide to give the experiment a chance, sending the children to this more open and accepting environment. The shift marks a turning point, as Kavin and Naina encounter a space designed to nurture individuality, creativity, and a sense of belonging.
In this new setting, a significant opportunity arises. Kavin and Naina are invited to participate in a talent show alongside Abhiman Tamizh Naadan [Aarush], Tamizh and Venba’s own son. The trio’s presence in the show signals a moment of personal growth for all involved. Kavin chooses a dance as his expression of energy and joy, while Naina uses the stage to tell the story of her life, giving voice to her experiences and feelings that have long been tucked away.
After the competition, Tamizh and Venba depart with their children, leaving the impression that the visit was about more than winning—it was about participation, inclusion, and healing. When the parents ask why they left so abruptly, they respond with quiet certainty that their goal was not victory, but the chance for the children to explore, express, and grow. This revelation prompts the parents to reflect on their own times of misjudgment and the need to support their kids’ true selves.
The film closes on a hopeful note. An ambulance horn interrupts the quiet moment of reflection, but the families choose to pray and move forward together. The screen fades to the credits, where paper boats sail by, highlighting celebrities with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and offering a glimpse into their lives and bios. The overall arc celebrates understanding, patience, and the quiet victories that come from letting children be themselves.
