In Kolkata, Pawan Kalyan plays Jai, a cool-headed hitman who works for the crime lord Jackie Shroff Bhagavan, and the two share a ruthless rivalry with Atul Kulkarni’s gang, Kulkarni.

Beyond the criminal world, Jai runs a nursery with his loyal friend Ali Basha Chotu, and he hires a caretaker for the plants, Sarah-Jane Dias Sandhya, all while trying to keep his illegal life from her as he grows closer to her.

Adivi Sesh Munna, Bhagavan’s psychotic son, returns to India after eight years, bringing a sharp edge to the gang’s already dangerous dynamics. Munna mistreats Bhagavan’s accountant and confidant, Sabapathy, humiliating him in public in a way that pushes Sabapathy to switch sides and join Kulkarni’s gang. Bhagavan issues Jai a grim order: kill Sabapathy.

To carry out the plan, Jai abducts Rahul, the son of Sampath (Kulkarni’s younger brother), and hides him at a club with Guruvayya. Jai expects a meeting with Sabapathy in exchange for Rahul’s freedom, and Sabapathy reveals that he switched sides to protect himself.

Meanwhile, Munna visits the club and is drawn to the club dancer Jahnavi, Jai’s childhood friend, who loves Jai. Guruvayya reveals this to Munna, which provokes a volatile reaction: Munna kills Rahul after a crude taunt about his status and also eliminates a Kulkarni henchman. When Sampath and Kulkarni receive no word from Guruvayya, Jai tries to flee, only to be stunned by Rahul’s death.

Munna later finds Jahnavi at Jai’s house and beats her to death. Jai arrives to confront Munna, and a brutal fight ensues. Guruvayya witnesses Jai kill Munna and reports the act to Bhagavan, deepening the blood feud.

With revenge driving him, Jai plans to tell Bhagavan the truth behind Munna’s death. As he moves toward that confrontation, Bhagavan’s men ambush him, and a gunfight erupts, forcing Jai to escape. He ends up in Palasa, staying at Sandhya’s house, while the Bhagavan–Kulkarni rivalry intensifies and Bhagavan’s power begins to crumble. Bhagavan learns about Chotu’s location through his girlfriend, kills her, and captures Chotu. A photo from Bhagavan’s phone reveals Jai and Sandhya’s whereabouts, and when Chotu refuses to talk, Bhagavan suffocates him.

Back in Kolkata, Jai reveals to Sandhya that he killed Sambasiva for her, and Sampath and his men later close in. Ashok arrives to help, and Jai kills Sampath, only to discover Sandhya has been kidnapped. Jai then returns to Kulkarni’s fortress, where he massacres Kulkarni’s henchmen and holds Kulkarni at gunpoint. Kulkarni admits he wasn’t the kidnapper—the information about Jai’s location came from Guruvayya in Andhra Pradesh.

Jai then eliminates Kulkarni and Guruvayya, and heads to Bhagavan’s house, where Sandhya is still a captive. He explains why Munna had to die, pleading with Bhagavan to spare Sandhya. Bhagavan fires at Sandhya, mortally wounding her, and Jai shoots Bhagavan in return. Sandhya survives and is reunited with Jai, while Bhagavan dies from his injuries, marking the closing of a violent, interwoven cycle of loyalty, vengeance, and love.
