What Is Pacific Club About?
The premise of Pacific Club without spoilers.
In 1979, the Pacific Club opened in the basement of La Défense, a business district in Paris. Serving as the first nightclub for Arabs from the suburbs, it became a vibrant space for dance, young love, and fleeting moments of utopia. Through the memories of Azedine, who was seventeen at the time, the film explores the forgotten story of this unique club and the generation that sought integration into France, while confronting realities of racism, the AIDS epidemic, and the rise of heroin use.
