What Is One Night in the Tropics About?
The premise of One Night in the Tropics without spoilers.
Jim “Lucky” Moore, an insurance salesman, creates a ‘love insurance policy’ for his friend Steve that pays $1 million if Steve doesn’t marry fiancée Cynthia. Their wedding is threatened by Steve’s ex‑girlfriend Mickey and Cynthia’s Aunt Kitty. Nightclub owner Roscoe underwrites it and sends enforcers Abbott and Costello to ensure the ceremony proceeds.
