The premise of Old Ironsides without spoilers.
An embellished retelling of the 1803 voyage of the famed frigate U.S.S. Constitution, known as “Old Ironsides,” as it confronts the Barbary pirates that menace American shipping. The story follows the crew and passengers of the fictional merchant ship The Esther, who become entangled with the pirates and are drawn into the Constitution’s mission.
