Six years have passed since the Hull House Halloween events. Most of the bodies left at Hull House have been recovered, except Angela, Shannon Elizabeth — and the rumors persist that she descended bodily into Hell. The truth behind the tragedy is hinted at by a chilling family detail: her parents committed suicide five years later after receiving a Halloween card bearing Angela’s signature.

A year later, Melissa, nicknamed “Mouse,” is living at St. Rita’s Academy, a Catholic boarding school for troubled teenagers. She often wakes from nightmares about her sister, while rumors swirl around the campus, fanned by the school bully. The head nun, Sister Gloria, tries to put an end to the spreading gossip and fear.

Shirley, already in trouble with the school for an earlier Halloween incident, plans a Halloween party at Hull House and invites Mouse. What begins as a prank escalates when a stolen demonic ritual book reveals itself, hinting at dark rites and dangerous power. Shirley, along with her circle—Rick and Z-Boy, plus Johnny, his girlfriend, and Kurt—manages to lure Mouse to Hull House, setting the stage for Angela’s return in a more formidable, demonic form.

A hair-raising turn of events follows when a lipstick tube taken from the house acts with a living malevolence of its own. The lipstick’s possession spreads rapidly: Shirley is overtaken, and one by one Rick, Z-Boy, Terri, and Kurt fall under the influence or are slain by the now-demonized Angela. Terri is saved, however, when Sister Gloria exercises the demon from her with Holy Water.

Angela’s plan centers on sacrificing Mouse to the Devil to prove her allegiance. In response, Sister Gloria, Johnny, Bibi, Father Bob, and Perry return to Hull House to rescue Melissa. The rescue mission goes awry as the group splits up inside the house, with Father Bob falling to the demonic Rick, Johnny narrowly escaping with the help of Perry from the demonic Kurt, and Perry himself killed by Z-Boy. Yet equipped with Holy Water, Bibi, Johnny, and Sister Gloria manage to purge the remaining demons, leaving Angela as the last threat.

The surviving quartet finds Melissa sleeping on an altar, and a tense confrontation unfolds about faith and power. In a moment of defiance, Angela declares a provocative line about faith before the struggle reaches its peak. > Real faith can move mountains, your faith can’t even move a mouse.

The confrontation crescendos as Angela decapitates Sister Gloria, only to have the sister silently pull her own head down into her habit and survive. In a final gambit, Sister Gloria offers to take Melissa’s place on the altar, and Angela hands a sword to Melissa, tempting her with power if she kills Sister Gloria. Melissa, however, turns the tables and stabs Angela, who is then finished off by Sister Gloria’s holy-water-filled super soaker.

With Angela and her minions defeated, the four survivors—Melissa, Bibi, Johnny, and Sister Gloria—make their exit from Hull House and return to the school, where they are greeted by the students and staff. The eerie aftermath hints at lingering darkness, as a demonic lipstick found by a student transforms into a snake and strikes again, reminding viewers that the threat may not be entirely over.
