Londoner Harry Fabian is a struggling con man desperately seeking his big break. After years of his schemes, his girlfriend, Mary, reaches her limit when he asks for another loan. His latest plan, promoting an aging Greek wrestler, backfires tragically when the wrestler dies, and suspicion falls on Harry. Now on the run and hiding on a riverfront barge, Harry finds his aspirations dissolving into a terrifying situation as he’s pursued by dangerous figures from the criminal underworld.
