CI Paul Varghese, the investigating officer, recommends Vijayamohan as the Special Public Prosecutor, since the reputation of Rajasekharan makes other lawyers hesitate to take the case. The role of Vijayamohan is portrayed by Mohanlal. Vijayamohan, a former lawyer who had stepped away from practice after a fallout years earlier, is initially reluctant to re-enter the fray. He had connections to Sara’s world through his daughter Poornima, and the history with Rajasekharan had left him wary of the courtroom battlefield. The backstory deepens as it’s revealed that Vijayamohan’s debarment came after a pivotal clash with Rajasekharan, a detail that underscores the high stakes and personal entanglements at play. Michael is found guilty of the assault and is sentenced to life imprisonment, along with a monetary fine.
