John Kattadi, Mohanlal, presides over Kattadi TMT Steel, a family business he inherited from his late father, Chacko Kattadi, who founded the company. His wife Annamma, [Meena], keeps the home steady, while their son Eesho John Kattadi, [Prithviraj Sukumaran], has carved out a name as a creative director at a prominent Bangalore advertising firm. Their long-time friend Kurian Malieakkal, [Lalu Alex], built himself up from modest roots to run his own advertising agency, and his wife Elsy, [Kaniha], is a devoted homemaker. Their daughter Anna, [Kalyani Priyadarshan], works in IT in Bangalore. Though both families are rooted in Kottayam, their lives are firmly planted in Kochi.

The two households converge at the wedding reception of Dr. Samuel’s daughter, a gathering that also features Dr. Cyril, [Unni Mukundan], the son-in-law who plans to build a nationwide maternity-hospital network. After a series of failed attempts to reveal the truth, Eesho finally confronts John, and the shock lands hard on the family. John hatches a plan to sort things out without exposing Kurian to more pain, and he vows to secure Anna’s future by asking for her hand in marriage. Cyril, meanwhile, works to keep Cyril’s collaboration with Kurian’s company alive through an impressive ad concept, which Cyril approves, helping to repair the rift.

As the truth gradually emerges, Kurian learns the devastating misunderstanding: Anna is not being dismissed or hidden—she is pregnant with Eesho’s child.
