When a chilling threat interrupts his mundane morning, a call warns that the Bandra-Worli Sea Link will be exploded, a bridge that looms large over his studio building and the city below.

What begins as a suspicious prank quickly spirals into a deadly reality. The caller detonates explosives, causing the bridge to collapse and leaving a trail of innocent casualties while trapping others in the wreckage. On the surface, this tragedy could be dismissed as another act of terrorism; beneath it, it becomes a grubby battlefield of media, politics, and fear. Seizing on the crisis as a potential comeback, Arjun Pathak refuses to involve the police and instead constructs a makeshift television studio inside his radio station. He bargains with his former boss, a relentless, ratings-driven producer, to reclaim his former position, appealing to a national audience hungry for a dramatic resolution.

A dangerous pact unfolds as Arjun agrees to broadcast the terrorists’ phone conversations in real time, turning the incident into a live televised event. The newsroom erupts with competing agendas: journalists, government officials, and rival channels all seek to manipulate the narrative to their advantage. Amid the chaos, Soumya, his ex-wife and a dedicated reporter who chooses to cover the site, volunteers to report from the disaster zone, offering a more humane counterpoint to the sensationalism around the attack. The terrorist, claiming to be Raghubeer Mhata, a construction worker who lost coworkers in a tragic accident while repairing the bridge, demands a public apology from a government minister, Minister Jaydev Patil. The threats escalate: the terrorist reveals a hidden bomb in the anchor’s earphone and insists that if Patil does not apologize, the danger will strike live on air.

A high-stakes moment arrives when Subhash Mathur—the minister’s deputy—arrives and refuses to apologize. Realizing the danger, Arjun privately detects a second bomb in Mathur’s earpiece and warns him in a discreet, urgent exchange. The caller, monitoring the studio through CCTV, detonates the bomb in Mathur’s ear, killing him and shattering the nerve of everyone watching. The incident leaves Arjun shaken and more determined to push forward, even as Ankita Malaskar, the manipulative producer, presses him to act on her terms and keep the spectacle alive.

As the crisis deepens, the ATS traces the caller’s location to a nearby building, only to discover a trap that triggers a devastating explosion. The studio is nearly destroyed, and Arjun is gravely injured. In a brutal twist, the attacker is revealed to be Anand, the son of Raghubeer Mhata, who has been orchestrating the attack from close by and seeks revenge for his father’s death and the others who perished. Arjun lures him to the studio while the live broadcast continues, but the confrontation ends with an ATS sniper eliminating the terrorist before further carnage can unfold.

The aftermath confirms the collapse of the bridge and the heavy toll on human life, including the loss of Soumya. The media machine spirals further as a rival channel broadcasts a sensational, false narrative painting Arjun as an anti-national figure who schemed to exploit the tragedy for personal gain. In a final, devastating moment, Arjun records a heartfelt voicemail to Soumya, apologizing for the pain he caused, and then chooses to detonate the building he is in, a self-destructive act that brings the studio down and ends his life as the structure collapses around him.
