ASI Maniyan and Praveen Michael rejoin the police force as a new CPO at a local station, stepping into a case where politics and crime intertwine with personal loyalties. A local political goon named Biju, tied to CPO Sunitha, is repeatedly stirred into action, drawing the trio into a dangerous tangle. When Praveen and the seasoned officer clash with Biju, they lock him up, but the Dalit party’s influence soon clears him, exposing the fragile line between law and power.
After a wedding party, Maniyan and Praveen end up drinking, and even though Maniyan joins them, the night takes another turn as they pick up CPO Sunitha for a lift. The calm is short-lived: Maniyan’s nephew Rahul drives, and a collision with a motorbike changes everything. They discover the rider, Jayan, is a friend of Biju, and the moment tensions rise. Rahul bolts from the scene, while civilians spot the trio. They rush to help Jayan, but he dies on arrival, igniting Biju’s mob and forcing the trio to flee to their station in a scramble.
At the police station, Maniyan realizes the trio could be accused of murder, which pushes them into hiding. Under mounting political pressure to frame them, they retreat to Munnar to seek asylum with an old acquaintance of Maniyan. The investigation is handed to the Crime Branch, and a team led by SP Anuradha locates the fugitives but cannot immediately strike due to the tactical layout of their hiding place.
Back in the city, the police stage a dramatic statement with the consent of the CM, announcing the arrest of the three officers and parading masked dummies to the media. When the moment comes to move, Praveen and Sunitha flee, only to discover Maniyan dead in a building, with a dying declaration in a video on his phone. The fake arrest plan now backfires, leaving the police in a precarious position as the CM pressures the department to clean up the mess.
Praveen tries to safeguard the suicide video, but he is captured and arrested along with Sunitha, and Maniyan’s body is brought to the police club. The officers then stage Maniyan’s supposed suicide in custody, coercing the other two to corroborate the version that links Maniyan to the death of the Dalit youth, which would clear the others of blame. Refusing to bend, Praveen and Sunitha hold their ground, but they are kept in custody and transported to court as by-elections approach.
The pursuit to destroy the video continues, but new evidence surfaces in court. Ultimately, the case is handed to a higher authority, and the court orders a CBI probe for a full, independent examination of the events surrounding the death, the video dying declaration, and the ensuing cover-up. The proceedings unfold against a backdrop of political maneuvering, investigative tension, and a fight for truth in the face of institutional pressure.
