National Theatre Live: Young Marx (2017): Cast & Box Office

In 1850, Europe's most wanted revolutionary, Karl Marx, is living in hiding in Dean Street, Soho. Broke and struggling with writer's block, the thirty-two-year-old grapples with financial troubles, a failing marriage, and the pressures of his revolutionary ideals. Surrounded by creditors, spies, and rivals, he finds solace only in moments of revelry with his friend Engels, desperately hoping for a job to restore his genius.
