Academy Award® nominee Ralph Fiennes stars in this exhilarating reinvention of George Bernard Shaw’s witty and provocative classic. Jack Tanner, a wealthy and celebrated radical thinker, finds himself the unlikely guardian to the captivating heiress, Ann. Despite the affections of a poet, Ann chooses to marry and attempt to tame this dazzling revolutionary. Appalled by the prospect of domesticity, Tanner flees to Spain, encountering bandits and, unexpectedly, The Devil, leading to an extraordinary dream debate exploring heaven and hell. Pursuing him, Ann arrives, resolute and unwavering, as Tanner questions the fundamental questions about how we live.
