Spoilers ahead
Laural St. Clair, Lindsay Lohan plays the lead in Spy Society, a flashily packaged teen spy movie that has somehow landed in Manhattan’s high school orbit. The film-within-a-film stars Ryan Ridley, Sam Vincent as Loral’s on-screen love interest, and the real-life excitement of a movie production ripples through the lives of the My Scene girls as they navigate the bustling streets where set gates and studio lots meet pep rallies and late buses. The girls—Barbie, Kelly Sheridan; Chelsea, Nicole Bouma; Madison, Kathleen Barr; Nolee, Tegan Moss; and Delancey, Meghan Black—concoct a daring plan to sneak onto the set by posing as extras, fueled by a blend of curiosity, ambition, and the thrill of being part of a real film production.
