Growing up in Chaiya, a quiet town in Surat Thani Province, three boys—Piak, Pao and Samor—are drawn together by loyalty, friendship, and a shared gaze toward Muay Thai. Piak, Pao, and Samor idolize Pao’s older brother, Krang Prawit Kittichanthira, a legendary Muay Thai fighter who trains under their father, Tew Samart Payakaroon. The trio’s early days are shaped by the discipline of Muay Thai and the sense that their paths are bound to the same ring.

A turning point comes when an accident leaves Samor partially crippled. In the wake of this setback, Piak and Pao recommit themselves to boxing, training under Tew, who masters the Muay Chaiya style—a method that blends technique, timing, and an austere mindset. But their home base is disrupted when Tew and Krang are recruited to a gym in Bangkok, pulling the boys toward a new, harsher world. The move marks a shift from a family-led, traditional path to a more dangerous, urban struggle in the capital.

In Bangkok, Piak and Pao press on, bringing Samor and Sripai along. Sripai—Piak’s beloved fiancée—joins them, while Piak’s loyalties become tangled by Pao’s secret love for Sripai. It’s a fragile arrangement that quietly tilts the dynamics of their tightly knit unit. The revelation that Tew has taken a monk’s vows after Krangsuk’s suicide, blamed on him for a supposed fight fix, adds a moral weight to the brothers’ decisions and raises the stakes of every choice they make in the ring and on the streets.

Piak stands out with a raw, improvisational skill in Muay Chaiya, paired with a fiery temper. His talents in the ring are undeniable, but that same intensity becomes a liability, costing him a bout and sending his boxing career spiraling downward. He descends into the underground world of bare-knuckle brawling, where his Muay Chaiya techniques give him a fearsome edge. As Piak navigates this shadow economy, he and Samor take on additional tasks for their boss, weaving deeper into a criminal underworld that touches every corner of their lives. At the same time, Sripai finds Piak in bed with Warn—a stunning dancer who draws Piak’s attention and complicates an already fragile triangle—prompting Sripai to confront Pao, who then moves in with her while Piak deepens his involvement in the underground landscape.

Meanwhile, Pao trains with his father, climbing the ranks and earning a place among top contenders. A defining challenge arrives when he faces a brutal farang boxer, Diamond Sullivan [J. Don Ferguson], who relies on performance-enhancing drugs to fuel his power. The match is not just a test of Pao’s strength but a test of the loyalties and pressures from Kru Paik, the gang boss who wants Pao to throw the fight. Pao’s resolve falters after an initial defeat, and the underworld’s grip tightens around his fate as the consequences of the rival gang’s scheming begin to reveal themselves.

With the pressure mounting, Piak and Samor are ordered to eliminate Pao. Piak’s complicated code of honor collides with blind loyalty to the men who have propelled him into the underworld, and he makes a decisive choice to shoot Pao non-fatally. The consequences are swift: Piak is arrested, and Pao faces a rematch with Diamond while the gang’s schemes tighten their noose around both brothers.

In a dramatic turn, Samor has sent Pao a tape encouraging him to give it his all in the rematch, a signal that hope and pressure collide in one last chance for redemption. As Piak fights to protect his brother, Samor’s heroism intensifies—he sacrifices himself by triggering an explosive vest to blow apart a car full of pursuing gangsters. Piak, free with Samor’s help, races to Rajadamnern Stadium where the rematch is taking place, intent on stopping the gangsters once and for all.

The second fight with Diamond is brutal and unyielding. Pao is battered, knocked down, and pushed to the brink, but he endures and finally triumphs with a devastating Muay Chaiya technique—the same move that mirrors the boys’ earliest training days together. The victory comes at a devastating personal cost, as the gang boss retaliates with lethal threats. Piak makes a last stand, capturing the boss as police close in, but the confrontation ends in tragedy when Piak sacrifices himself—fatally shot by a police officer’s weapon while defending Pao and Sripai.

In the aftermath, Piak’s death is marked by the presence of Pao, Sripai, and her daughter, who return to Chaiya to honor his memory. Piak’s ashes are scattered into the sea, a final gesture that ties his life’s fierce energy to the landscape that shaped him.

  • Pao Thawatchai Phanpakdee navigates the shifting loyalties of family, love, and the fight game, rising to become a top boxer even as he faces coercion and violence from the underworld.
  • Samor Sonthaya Chitmanee provides a steady, heartfelt counterpoint to the brothers’ struggles, ultimately sacrificing himself to protect those he loves.
  • Sripai Parita Kongpetch weaves through the men’s lives, bringing a human center to a story saturated with danger, devotion, and unresolved longing.
  • Krang Prawit Kittichantheera serves as the bridge between the family’s Muay Thai legacy and the darker currents of the city’s underworld.
  • Diamond Sullivan J. Don Ferguson represents the external force of the sport’s brutal, drug-tainted apex, challenging Pao’s integrity and resolve.
  • Warn Sangthong Keduthong embodies the city’s seductive lure and the personal cost of Piak’s choices.

This rendition keeps the core events intact while weaving in more texture and flow, preserving the emotional arcs and pivotal turning points of the story, and maintaining a neutral, accessible tone throughout.
