Mr. Vampire III 1987

Uncle Ming, Richard Ng Yiu-Hon, attempts to exorcise vengeful spirits from a haunted house but narrowly escapes, bringing his two ghostly companions, Big Pao and Small Pao, to a nearby town.

The town is under attack by bandits with supernatural powers, led by Devil Lady, Pauline Wong Yuk-Wan.

When Ming and the Paos are dining at a restaurant, Captain Chiang, Billy Lau Nam-Kwong, harasses them, and the Paos answer with mischievous tricks aimed at Chiang.

Chiang’s master, Uncle Nine, appears and quickly subdues the two ghosts, trapping them inside a wine jar.

As Ming proves no match for Nine’s magical prowess, he pleads with Nine to release the Paos. Nine agrees to set them free but warns Ming that he must part ways with the ghosts.

Big Pao is later captured by Devil Lady due to Chiang’s mischief, and she casts a spell that makes him see Taoist-robed figures as monster birds, sending him on a rampage to attack the town.

During the ensuing chaos, Devil Lady breaches the town prison to free two of her bandits, only to fall into a trap herself. Uncle Nine defeats Devil Lady in combat, and the sorceress falls into a well and dies.

Yet the spirits of the two bandits escape, possessing two men and continuing their mischief. Nine and Ming join forces to contain the evil spirits, sealing them in wine jars and frying them in hot oil.

Just then, the coin sword binding Devil Lady shatters, freeing the sorceress’ spirit to seek revenge. After a long, grueling battle, and with the help of the Pao ghosts, Nine and Ming prevail in destroying Devil Lady once and for all.
