The story

When two kids, Jan and her brother Dean, are sent to stay with their unconventional uncle Woody, they anticipate a perfect summer. The secluded island offers fantastic waves and a carefree atmosphere, but a sense of unease settles in as they notice the town’s eerie emptiness and unsettling sounds from the beach. They discover the inhabitants are monstrous surfers who are hostile to outsiders. A ruthless property developer’s arrival throws everything into chaos, forcing the siblings and the monsters to unite and protect their unique home.
