María Luisa Bemberg: The Echo of My Voice (2021): Cast

Born into Argentina’s elite, María Luisa Bemberg’s family founded the Quilmes brewery, a multinational enterprise. Raised in a privileged environment and educated by exceptional tutors, she often explored the lives of upper-class women across different historical periods in her films. These narratives frequently examined female opportunity and the constraints placed upon women, revealing how social class could be both a privilege and a trap. This documentary, "María Luisa Bemberg: The Echo of My Voice," offers a comprehensive portrait of the acclaimed filmmaker through interviews with family, colleagues, and a wealth of personal recordings.
