Moon Hye-rim Go Seo-hee is overwhelmed by mounting bills and takes a job as a nurse’s aide in the hospital’s VIP ward, where she cares for Kim Cheol-oh, a paralyzed billionaire and the hospital’s major investor. As Hye-rim delves into Mi-na’s past, she uncovers a life marked by harsh bullying for her hair color, weight, and poverty, and later abuse as a factory worker who becomes a prostitute known as Madonna. These revelations drive Hye-rim to form a strange bond with the comatose Mi-na and to fight against the organ transplant, determined to derail the heart donation.
