The film begins with a humorous fake trailer titled “Machete Kills Again… In Space!”, showcasing the legendary hero on a cosmic adventure. This amusing clip features Danny Trejo alongside talents like Michelle Rodriguez, Alexa Vega, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber as a robot named Bleep, who meets a swift end at the hands of Machete. Additionally, Leonardo DiCaprio is humorously noted as “The Man in the Silver Mask,” though his participation is subject to change.

As the actual film unfolds, we find a team of military personnel at the Arizona-Mexico border, unpacking advanced weaponry. Their operations are swiftly interrupted by Machete Cortez and Sartana Rivera, who realize the military is in cahoots with the cartel. The situation escalates tragically as the cartel ambushes the soldiers, slaughtering them mercilessly. Machete and Sartana put up a fight, but amidst the chaos, Sartana is shot fatally by a man in a luchador mask, leaving Machete heartbroken as he discovers her lifeless body.

Captured and facing certain death, Machete finds himself at the mercy of the racist Sheriff Doakes. Just as he’s about to meet his end, the president, Charlie Sheen, intervenes, sparing him for a mission. The task? Hunt down Demian Bichir, a cartel member turned revolutionary, who has plans to launch a missile aimed at Washington, D.C. Machete reluctantly agrees to take on this dangerous assignment in exchange for U.S. citizenship.

Flying to San Antonio, Machete meets his ally, Blanca Vasquez, also known as Miss San Antonio. After a brief encounter where she displays her impressive array of weapons and seduces Machete, she informs him that he must seek out a young woman named Cereza, who can lead him to Mendez.

The adventure propels Machete into Acapulco, where he is drawn into a wild brothel run by Sofía Vergara, who initially views him with suspicion. After some chaotic encounters, Machete secures Cereza’s (Vanessa Hudgens) help but tragedy strikes when she is shot by Zaror, a revolutionary. As Machete navigates this treacherous underworld, he discovers the ominous truth of Mendez’s madness.

Pursuing Mendez, Machete becomes embroiled in a thrilling escape as the stakes skyrocket. Mendez, who has transformed into a methodical maniac, pulls an explosive trigger on his chest, setting a timer for impending doom. The intense action escalates with Machete slicing through enemies, evading assassins, and rescuing Mendez while battling revolutionary troops hell-bent on destruction.

As the plot thickens, Machete and Mendez encounter various adversaries, including El Camaleon—a shape-shifting hitman. Machete’s relentless pursuit leads to several dramatic confrontations, all while he struggles against time to prevent a catastrophic missile launch.

With only a sliver of time remaining, a climactic confrontation ensues at Voz Tech Industries, where Mel Gibson portrays the cunning Luther Voz. The conflict reaches its zenith when Machete discovers the life-and-death mechanism tied to Mendez’s heart. As bullets fly and chaos reigns, Machete must confront his past and those seeking vengeance.

Ultimately, in an explosive finale, Machete thwarts the looming disaster, riding a missile to ensure it lands harmlessly, only to find himself conscripted for another intergalactic mission. The film concludes with Machete embarking on a new adventure, hinting at a future filled with space escapades and unresolved conflicts, seamlessly setting the stage for another thrilling sequel.

In the end, there’s a humorous outtake highlighting Michelle Rodriguez playfully “pussy-punching” Amber Heard, accompanied by a surreal shot of President Rathcock in outer space, armed and ready for action, wrapping up this wild ride with a chuckle.
