What Is Machan About?
The premise of Machan without spoilers.
Manoj, a bartender, and Stanley, a fruit vendor, dream of life in the West but can’t get visas. They see a Bavarian handball tournament ad, recruit friends, and pose as the Sri Lanka national team, though they know nothing about sport. After brief training they secure German visas, but organizers and an eager crowd force them to actually play in the tournament.
