Cursed with extraordinary bad luck due to his father's past defiance of Lady Fortune, young Filip finds himself falling for Hanička, Fortune’s own daughter. Determined to win her affection and break his family’s misfortune, he sets out on a whimsical quest across the globe. Along the way, he forms an unexpected partnership with Kdokoliv, a man known for his compulsive lying, who may be his only chance to win Hanička’s love and overcome the family’s long-standing curse.
