A man (José Luis López Vázquez) storms into a bar and kills four patrons. The next day the city is buzzing with the grisly news; police have identified the shooter and released his photograph, yet he has vanished. Blanca (Serena Vergano), a solitary municipal librarian, receives a love letter from the unknown killer, proclaiming his devotion. She insists she never saw him at the library, despite his claim of being a regular, deepening the unsettling mystery.
