Lord of the Toys (2018): Cast

Max “Adlersson” Herzberg, a 20-year-old from Dresden, has chosen an unconventional path, rejecting traditional employment to pursue a career as a YouTube creator. He reviews various products, including knives, and unboxes limited-edition albums, often accompanied by commentary, drinking, and provocative behavior. Surrounded by friends who also have successful YouTube channels, Max and his group have garnered a substantial following of over 300,000 active fans. The film explores whether Max is a controversial influencer potentially glorifying violence or simply a young person navigating the complexities of self-discovery in an era where personal lives are increasingly public.
