“Look out Haskell, it’s real!” documents the production of Haskell Wexler’s 1969 film Medium Cool, featuring interviews with cast, crew, critics and commentators plus unseen outtakes. A 55‑minute version premiered at the 2001 Edinburgh Film Festival with a new theatrical print, later broadcast on the BBC, PBS and Sundance Channel. Clips appear on the 2013 Criterion Collection DVD, and a six‑part, six‑and‑a‑half‑hour expanded cut was completed in 2015.
