Liver, or Story of a Startup (2019): Cast

In 1990s Russia, three school friends—Vova, Mamed, and Lyokha—aspire to start their own business, a common dream during that era. Needing funds to realize their ambition, their plans initially appear promising, until they are unexpectedly barred from taking their final exams. Their situation takes a bizarre turn when Kostik, a regional figure with ties to organized crime, intervenes. Kostik’s failing health requires a liver transplant, and the young men find themselves entangled in a strange arrangement: they receive the organ, but their new circumstances come with unforeseen complications.
