What Is Leagues About?
The premise of Leagues without spoilers.
Exploring the complexities of academic exclusion within native communities, this film uses contrasting settings – quiet classrooms and lively outdoor spaces – to examine the impact of education. Drawing on an archaic unit of measurement for its title, the postcolonial work reveals how education, intended as a tool for social advancement, can inadvertently foster division and discrimination.
