Latest News from the Cosmos (2016): Cast

Hélène, appearing much younger than her nearly thirty years, is a writer known for her sharp, humorous prose. Describing herself as belonging to a group that “doesn't fit in,” her unique writing explores both her inner world and the wider world around her. She collaborates with a theater director adapting her work and engages in conversations with a mathematician. Remarkably, Hélène is unable to speak or write, having never learned to read or write. Her ability to communicate through arranging letters was discovered by her mother when she turned twenty, adding to the many mysteries surrounding this extraordinary woman.
