Their target is a centuries-old Chinese porcelain rice bowl that once belonged to the Tchoi family, now up for auction at the prestigious Hainsworth’s auction house.

The heist is set in motion around the auction itself. The bowl’s owner, the Tchoi family, attend and win the bid, while the crew aggressively consolidates control of the moment. In the basement, one of Hainsworth’s trusted employees, Sebastian Leclerc, is assaulted as the crew seizes the bowl and makes a swift getaway. But the plan spirals when their van is forcefully knocked off a bridge by another car, overturning and catching fire. Amid the chaos, the protagonist and a young woman from the crew—May-Ling—are among the survivors, and they escape with the bowl intact.

What happens next depends heavily on the player’s choices. The relationship that develops—whether it stays strictly transactional, grows into cooperation, or even blossoms into friendship or romance—depends on how the protagonist interacts with May-Ling as both navigate the aftermath of the crash and the moral complexities of their situation.
