What Is Last Rites About?
The premise of Last Rites without spoilers.
After being sentenced to die in the electric chair for murdering several women, a lightning strike hits the nearby transformer at the moment of his execution, saving him. When officials move to execute him again, he emerges altered, and a female criminal psychiatrist explains the change as the result of brain‑cell damage caused by the first shock.
