
Driven by a deep religious conviction, 26-year-old John Allen Chau travels to North Sentinel Island with the goal of converting the isolated, uncontacted Sentinelese people to Christianity. His perilous journey is shadowed by a detective from the Andaman Islands, who is determined to prevent Chau from potentially endangering himself or disrupting the tribe’s way of life.
