Toby Wallace

Born in the United Kingdom on 6 June 1995, Toby Wallace is a celebrated actor in the international entertainment scene. Moving to Australia when he was eight, Wallace committed to developing his craft at an early age, engaging in training in drama and theatre at Melbourne's Caulfield Grammar School. His professional acting began in earnest when, at the tender age of 13, he appeared in the film Lucky Country directed by the acclaimed Australian filmmaker, Kriv Stenders. This maiden role brought in a nomination for the coveted Australian Film Institute Award for Best Young Actor, reinforcing Wallace as a rising star in the entertainment industry.

His acting career further blossomed in 2012 when he scored a role in the TV movie Underbelly Files: The Man Who Got Away and a guest role in the long-established TV series Neighbours. In 2014, he played the young Michael Hutchence in the miniseries INXS: Never Tear Us Apart. Wallace managed another critical role in the Australian feature Acute Misfortune. His portrayal of the artist Adam Cullen's biographer was across from the actor Daniel Henshall. The cherry on top of his steadily blossoming career came in 2019 when he won the Marcello Mastroianni Award at the 2019 Venice Film Festival and the AACTA for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2020 for the role he played in Babyteeth. His latest role as Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols in the 2022 TV series Pistol promises a continuation of his brilliant acting career.
