In the tumultuous year of 1862, Korea found itself engulfed in chaos as the Joseon dynasty struggled to manage the aftermath of devastating natural disasters and crippling economic issues. Amidst this strife, the ruling aristocracy held absolute power, cruelly exploiting the impoverished masses who faced widespread hunger, death, and suffering. Rising against this oppression was the infamous Chusul clan, a group committed to resistance, robbing corrupt officials and redistributing their ill-gotten wealth to those in dire need.
