Tom Russo, [Asbestos Felt], a paranoid airplane mechanic struggling to make ends meet, grows certain that his wife, Leeza Russo, is having affairs after he finds something he mistakes for Leeza’s diary. The discovery sets off a spiraling paranoia that taints every ordinary moment at home and pushes him toward drastic, violent acts.

One afternoon, Tom’s friend Raymond Carbone Ben drops by with his girlfriend Angel Rachel Rutz, and what begins as a tense confrontation quickly erupts into brutal murder. Tom decapitates Angel, then attacks and kills Ben with shocking force, and buries their bodies, leaving little trace of the carnage that has overtaken his mind.

The violence ratchets up when Tom lures back an electrician—Joel D. Wynkoop as TV Repairman—whom he wrongly suspects had slept with Leeza. He scalps the man by pulling him into a ceiling fan rigged with machetes, a grisly display that marks a turning point in Tom’s descent. After this, Tom sends Leeza away to her mother’s house and methodically targets three others she had allegedly written about sleeping with: a TV Repairman (the same chilling figure from before), a courier, and a gardener. The courier’s death is witnessed by Mrs. Palmer, a nosy neighbor who becomes a brief witness to the terror unfolding on their street, though she is ultimately overwhelmed by the chain of horrors that follow.

As the body count rises, the victims return in a supernatural twist: they come back as zombies to avenge their deaths. The ghoul left behind is not merely seeking vengeance; they first confront Tom, but then offer a disturbing bargain: spare Tom if he kills Leeza, whom they now see as the true architect behind their fates. Tom refuses this grim offer, choosing not to sacrifice Leeza and instead taking his own life with a hacksaw, slitting his throat in a final act of despair.

The zombies deem this turn of events acceptable, then exit the house and plunge into a mysterious pit that opens up in the backyard. Leeza, desperate to escape the nightmare she helped unleash, makes a final attempt to flee, but as soon as she opens the front door, she is confronted by the undead Tom, a grim reminder that some consequences persist beyond death.

This tale unfolds with a stark, restrained tone that emphasizes the unraveling of a man overwhelmed by fear, suspicion, and the unthinkable consequences of a truth he cannot bear to accept. The narrative threads through domestic tension, shock violence, and a supernatural turn that reframes the idea of guilt, blame, and the cost of a lie, all while anchoring the story in a claustrophobic, nightmarish atmosphere.
