During a lively party at the home of Greg and Chloe, Saxon, portrayed by Patrick Schwarzenegger, attends alongside his parents Timothy, played by Jason Isaacs, and Victoria, depicted by Parker Posey. Instead, he opts to knock Jim’s chair over in frustration before he and Frank make a hasty exit, discarding the weapon in a downtown area. Through this encounter, Rick believes he has achieved a sense of closure and celebrates this emotional release at a nightclub with Frank, who indulges in drinks and drugs while Rick remains sober but content.

Amid this chaos, Laurie finds herself at Aleksei’s place, leading to a fleeting romantic encounter. As the night progresses, Aleksei asks her for a hefty $10,000 to support his ailing mother; Laurie’s financial constraints become evident when she declines his request. Unexpectedly, Aleksei’s girlfriend reappears, prompting Laurie to make a hasty escape through a window before the situation escalates further.
