Arthur Curry / Aquaman and the rest of the Justice League, joined by the Teen Titans, hatch a bold plan to stop Darkseid, the tyrant who rules Apokolips. They move quickly, pooling their powers and strategies, but a silent vigil threads through the mission: Darkseid is watching every step of their scheme through Cyborg, who bears witness to their plans in real time. The team lands on Apokolips and faces a devastating surprise—the battlefield yields to a new kind of horror: Paradooms, terrifying hybrids born from Parademons and Doomsday, engineered using Kryptonian DNA drawn from Superman. The clash is brutal and merciless, and the fight ends with heavy losses: many League and Titan members perish, while those who survive are either subdued by Darkseid’s forces or forced into hiding.

Two years pass, and Darkseid has expanded his grip by installing devices called “Reapers” that mine the planet’s core. Jerry O’Connor as Clark Kent / Superman is depowered after a ruthless tattoo—liquid kryptonite—staining his skin. He’s released, but only to carry the weight of failure on his shoulders, knowing that his misstep cost allies their lives. The surviving heroes blame him for the catastrophe, and he reconnects with Taissa Farmiga as Raven, who is wrestling with the burden of containing her father Trigon. Together they seek out Matt Ryan as John Constantine to cast a location spell that can track Damian Wayne to help free Batman, whom they believe still has a chance to set things right. Constantine, who carries a heavy sense of cowardice for having fled the earlier assault and left Zatanna to die, eventually locates Damian at a League of Assassins outpost and joins the mission, even as his own doubts linger.

The group travels to Metropolis to Stryker’s Island, meeting with Lois Lane, portrayed by Rebecca Romijn in their efforts. Lois has enlisted the Suicide Squad, now led by Harley Quinn, to their cause. Their plan hinges on infiltrating LexCorp, using a Boom Tube to reach Apokolips, and assassinating Darkseid. Back on the battlefield, the remaining heroes who are fighting the Reapers are steadily killed by the relentless Paradooms. Lex Luthor’s loyalties become complicated when Lois discovers he’s tangled in the double game; he’s inside LexCorp, while Lois, Luthor, and the Squad stand guard to defend the Boom Tube, preparing for the dangerous descent into Apokolips. Batman learns of Luthor’s betrayal and dispatches Paradooms and new Furies after the intruders.

When they reach Apokolips, the team is assaulted by the Furies—cybernetic versions of Wonder Woman, Mera, Hawkman, Starfire, and Martian Manhunter. The first strike claims Etrigan the Demon, though Constantine manages to break Wonder Woman free with the Lasso of Truth, deciding to stay behind to hold off the other Furies. Superman’s group manages to rescue the Flash from a treadmill powering Apokolips, while Cyborg, now deeply integrated into Apokolips’s network, confronts them directly. Constantine frees Cyborg from Darkseid’s control, which in turn frees the rest of the Furies. Darkseid orders Batman to kill Damian, but the moment is arrested by Damian’s memory of his parents’ deaths, which shatters Darkseid’s grip and frees Batman from control. Enraged, Darkseid attempts to kill Damian, but Damian steps in and dies in Batman’s arms, a moment that devastates Raven.

Raven’s grief triggers Trigon’s release; the demon’s presence threatens to tear the group apart. Constantine offers his body as a vessel for Trigon, but the demon rejects the offer and takes Clark’s body instead. With kryptonite purged, Clark regains his powers and kills Constantine by breaking his neck, then uses Trigon to attack Darkseid. Zatanna visits Constantine in the afterlife, revealing that she manipulated him into fleeing the battle as part of Batman’s contingency plan after her own death. Raven and Zatanna bring Damian and Constantine back to life, reviving hope amid the chaos.

Back at LexCorp, the Paradooms overwhelm Lois’s squad, forcing them to trigger a self-destruct sequence. Lois broadcasts a farewell message to Apokolips with Cyborg’s help, and her sacrifice jolts Clark back to his senses, breaking Darkseid’s hold over him. Clark resumes the fight, while Constantine and Raven combine their magic to give Trigon a tangible form so he can join the struggle against Darkseid. After guiding the others back to Earth, Cyborg makes the ultimate sacrifice, dragging Darkseid, Trigon, and the Paradooms into a void Boom Tube with no destination. Trigon blocks Darkseid’s escape as they vanish into oblivion along with Apokolips.

The victory comes with a grim price. Batman reveals that the Reapers have drained 31% of Earth’s magma, and the planet’s rotation is compromised, meaning billions will die before a solution can be found. In a final act of hope, Constantine convinces the Flash to run back in time to reset the timeline. The universe splits anew through a “Flashpoint,” and though the world will never be exactly as it was, the heroes hold to a conviction: it must be better than the one they just left behind. The Flash agrees, and the timeline resets, setting the stage for a different future—even if it will never be perfect.
