In the Mexican rainforest, a close-knit group of coatis (coatimundis) navigates life under a quiet but strict code, where loyalty can be tested by love and reputation. Manu, Drake Bell is the best friend of Sacha, Alicia Silverstone, and he harbors a deep, unspoken love for her. Manu’s wild streak earns him trouble in the eyes of many, especially the Coati King, who is Sacha’s father. When a statue intended to honor the King is accidentally destroyed, the King banishes Manu from the kingdom, a decision that devastates Sacha and pushes Manu toward a path of change and redemption.

One year later, Manu has begun to turn his life around, still holding onto his feelings for Sacha and hoping to win back his place in the community. But hope meets danger when Sacha is abducted by poachers named Helms, Michael McConnohie and Reiser, Joey D’Auria, who work for the mysterious Dr. Loco, Rob Schneider. Dr. Loco has been carrying out experiments on animals using a powerful Gene Booster device, a detail that underscores the peril surrounding Sacha’s disappearance and the high stakes of the rescue mission.

Driven by love and a desire to prove his growth, Manu teams up with a quick-witted spider monkey named Chuy, Rob Schneider, to mount a daring rescue. Their alliance pits them against the poachers and the ominous experiments, forcing Manu to confront his past and demonstrate to the Coati King that he has genuinely changed. As the forest around them swirls with danger and hope, the duo embarks on a journey that tests courage, friendship, and the possibility of forgiveness, all while racing to bring Sacha home and restore balance to their tight-knit community.
