Spoilers ahead
In the vibrant streets of Tehran, we meet Jamshid/Jimmy Vestvood, portrayed by Maz Jobrani, a well-meaning yet unfortunate Iranian who dreams of becoming a Private Investigator (P.I.). Living a cozy life with his devoted mother, played by Vida Ghahremani, Jimmy’s world flips upside down when he wins the Green Card lottery. This milestone leads to a celebration that takes a chaotic turn, as an accidental fire ignites an American flag – a moment that goes viral, with Kox Media mistakenly interpreting it as evidence of his supposed “Terrorist” leanings.
