Indoo, Kiara Advani, is a girl from Ghaziabad navigating love, loyalty, and the social pressures around her. She has been dating Satish for a year, but she believes sex should wait until marriage. To keep some balance in her doubts, she often turns to her best friend, Sonal, Mallika Dua, who knows her well and offers practical, sometimes blunt advice. The neighborhood around Indoo hums with curiosity and judgment, and many men in her life seem eager to pursue her, a situation that weighs on her as she tries to stay true to her beliefs.

Meanwhile, a tense backdrop unfolds in Ghaziabad: two terrorists from Pakistan are hiding in the city after injuring a police officer. The police broadcast a wanted notice, but with limited information about their faces, the danger feels distant to most residents, including Indoo. This looming threat shadows the everyday drama of Indoo’s social world and testy relationships, even as she wrestles with her own boundaries and desires.

Sonal pushes Indoo toward a trial run of intimacy with Satish to test if there might be any problems on Satish’s side. Without warning Satish, Indoo goes to his place the next day, only to discover he is sleeping with another married woman, Alka Kaushal. The sense of betrayal stings deeply, and Indoo ends the relationship. Sonal doesn’t soften the blow; she blames Indoo for insisting on waiting and also encourages a one-night stand as another chance to practice.

Seeking to reclaim control of her own story, Indoo turns to a dating app, Dinder, and matches with Samar Khan, Aditya Seal, a musician from Hyderabad. Through a playful misstep by Sonal, Indoo is presented to Samar as “India,” a nod to the profile’s mis-typed Indira. Despite the nerves and awkwardness, both know where the night may lead, but Indoo is shy and seeks guidance from Sonal as the evening unfolds. The dinner arrives in time via a food delivery app, Gomato, adding a comical layer to the tension.

A twist of fate reveals Samar’s passport fall, exposing him as Pakistani. Indoo, who had already seen the wanted order on TV, accuses Samar of being a terrorist, but Samar vehemently denies the accusation. What follows is a fraught clash of trust: Indoo wants Samar to leave, but she also asks him to wait for a moment when the street is quiet enough for a discreet exit. The delivery-arrival drama intensifies when Samar invites the delivery man inside to keep an eye on a supposed “terrorist” while Indoo uses the bathroom. Samar seizes the opportunity to slip out, leaving the delivery man alone with Indoo.

On his way home, Samar spots a dead body and discovers the ID of the person who should have delivered their food. He realizes that the man in Indoo’s house could be a terrorist, and he tries to seek help from passers-by and from a nearby prayer gathering, but no one seems to listen. With the clock ticking and options dwindling, Samar returns to Indoo’s house, ignoring her protests, and confronts the supposed “terrorist.”

A tense struggle erupts between Samar and the intruder, while Indoo’s suspicion remains, and the television news begins to show a photo of the terrorist. The real danger remains in the room, and Indoo finally sees, in a moment of clarity, that the delivery man is the genuine Pakistani terrorist, and Samar has been trying to save her all along. In the standoff, Indoo hides as the terrorist searches for her, and Samar wakes just in time to wrest control of the confrontation.

The police arrive and shoot the terrorist, ending the immediate threat. In the aftermath, Indoo and Samar confront the misunderstandings that nearly tore them apart, apologizing to one another as they lean in for a kiss. The film closes on a note of reconciliation, leaving Indoo with a strengthened sense of trust and a renewed openness to love, tempered by the knowledge of how easily fear can blur truth.
