Dr. Baby Holmes, a vet, ends a cheating boyfriend relationship and, fearing her biological clock, seeks a husband. Firefighter Roberto “Boy” Reye, a hero with a son, saves her. He offers any wish; she asks for a child. He thinks she's joking, but soon falls for her quirks. Guilt drives Baby to leave, forcing them to confront their feelings.
